Museum of Napoleonic Memorabilia & The Palace’s Collection of Historical Archives

Located in the South Wing of the Prince’s Palace, this museum harbours a rich collection of objects, documents, engravings, medals and decorations, as well as paintings and other valuable pieces. Some are rare, most are moving (busts of Napoleon By Canova and Houdon, the flag of the Island of Elba, the famous crib of the King of Rome) together they map out Monaco’s journey across the centuries, particularly the period of the First Empire.
